15mm VERTICAL Strobe , 14x2W, SHORT
LED high-performance flash light with 14W reference power for operation as a strobe on a wide variety of models. The special design of the LEDs allows optimal radiation to the side with the smallest design. The pen light is delivered pre-assembled and ready for use on a CNC-machined aluminum heat sink, and 2 high-strength polycarbonate caps are included for free use:

The caps must be glued separately and some of them can also be painted in the color of the model. Any non-evaporating adhesive such as epoxy, Uhu Allplast, Uhu Por, silicone, Canopy Glue,... When using the small round cap, the edges of the ALU PCB may need to be chamfered.
The light may only be used as a flash light, otherwise overheating can occur very quickly. Please check this in operation.

The reference power is a comparison value between our offered lights. It normally refers to an operating voltage of 12V/3S Lipo and is dependent on bulbs, operating mode and technology.
The luminaire is ready to use for operation with 2S LiPo (ca. 8V). With 3S (12V), the enclosed resistor has to be added. Please note that high-performance LEDs can get very hot, up to 70°C is quite normal. These lamps with heatsink cases are suitable for continuous operation if an air flow (during flight) is possible. If this is not the case, the duty cycle of 5-10 minutes should not be exceeded. Pay always attention to the operating temperature, we do not assume any warranty in case of overheating.
Note: The LED lights are extremely bright! Never look directly into a LED!
